SETESOL 2026

October 28-28, Cajundome Convention Center, Lafayette, Louisiana

The Program Committee invites you to submit a session, workshop, or paper/research proposal for the 2026 SETESOL Regional Conference at the Cajundome Convention Center in Lafayette, LA. We are seeking proposals that reflect the best and most promising topics, research, and practice to support quality education of multilingual learners of English from diverse populations. Please use the guidelines below to help you prepare the best proposal possible.

PROPOSAL COMPONENTS

All submissions must adhere to the guidelines in this Call for Proposals and support the mission and values of TESOL International Association: https://www.tesol.org/about-tesol/association-governance/mission-and-values

Presenter Information: Name, professional affiliation, email address, and telephone number of all presenters on proposal Summary for the program (50 words maximum) Abstract (300 word maximum)

Strand (Choose one): Bilingual Ed; K-12; Refugee; Adult Ed; Higher Ed; ELL; EFL; ESP; IEP; Teacher Education; Digital Learning and Technology; Advocacy/Policy; Content and Language-Integrated Approach; Reading, Writing and Literacy; Vocabulary and Grammar; Listening, Speaking and Pronunciation; Language Assessment; Language Placement; Curriculum Development; Intercultural Communication Presentation Type: Panel, Research or Practice-Oriented Session and Workshop (50 minutes)
